The parents of a 3-month-old girl in the US say they’re taking action to protect their daughter from a vaccine-preventable coronavirus.
Mashable has learned from an anonymous source that the daughter, known as “Fawkes,” is being vaccinated for COVID-19.
The family is worried about the risks posed by a vaccine, but says they’re following best practices and are “doing what’s right.”
They say the vaccines aren’t always safe, and that it can be “difficult to be sure what vaccines are safe.”
The family says they’ve had the vaccine for two years.
But it’s still too early to say if she’s healthy.
The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) database says vaccine-related adverse events were reported in the United States last week.
It was a record high.
